Tokyo (JCN) - Online market researcher Info Plant has announced the results of a survey of 10,173 i-mode users on the use of drugstores, which it conducted from October 25 to November 1.
Of the respondents, 35.0% answered that they go to a drugstore two to three days per month, followed by once a week (30.1%) and two to three days a week (17.8%). By gender, 60.6% of the female respondents go to such stores more than once a week while 34.9% of the male do so.
When asked what items they purchase at drugstores, most of the respondents, 60.0% of the men and 77.3% of the women, cited commodities such as hair shampoos and conditioners. More than 65% of the respondents aged 40 or older answered that they frequently buy drugs at the stores.
